One of the Best Rounds of Battlefield - Battlefield 1 Diary

On the evening of December 27, 2016, after I got home from work, I didn’t really have much to do. So I wanted to play some games. I decided to play Battlefield 1 because I did not play it in a while (or any games for that matter) due to Christmas travel.

I started the game, and joined an official server, like I always do. The round was on Amiens, followed by Ballroom Blitz. I did extremely well on both, and my team won those two rounds. I was going to quit at this point, but I decided to play one more round because I love Empire’s Edge.

I had two good rounds, and I was very certain this round would be a disaster, so much so that I said that in chat. What followed was one of the best rounds of BF1 I ever played.

Enjoy.

Word of Caution - Double Check The Settings Before Rendering!

I render all my gameplay videos at 2560x1440 resolution. Today, while rendering some Battlefield 4 videos, I accidentally rendering them at 1360x768 resolution because I forgot to check what setting Sony Vegas was using.

Check the render settings before deleting the source!
I rendered some old gameplay footage at laptop resolution, and that setting persisted.

Had I not noticed this at the last moment, I would have deleted the source, and some great footage would have been reduced to 1360x768 resolution.
